What do you think of homeschooling?

I'm interested in what general opinions are about homeschooling? I know it is becoming more and more popular and I read about colleges "scouting" for homeschoolers. Remember, this is a personal decision. Just interested in what people are thinking.

I was homeschooled myself, not by my choice though. I think it's very importnant that your child really wants to be homeschooled and to really talk to them about it. I feel as though i did miss out on alot of things.. such as doing school sports and going to school dances etc. And also you really have to know and be able to explain things very well to your child. This is just my short little response.. i could get into it alot more!
