And for this one, I'm just talking about the classics (Flintstones, Scooby Doo, Where are you?, etc...), I'm talking about the ones that only a handful of people remember. Like one of my favs here... Freakazoid!
A teen computer geek who gets sucked into his computer one night and comes out with strange powers that not only give him powers, but make him act a little odd.
Freakazoid... We miss you!

I used to LOVE Freakazoid. I watched it everyday after school!
Another cartoon I used to watch after school, and is since cancled, was Batman: The Animated Series. I thought this cartoon was amazing, it was really high quality. Plus it intorduced one of my favorite cartoon/comic characters, The Joker's girlfriend, Harley Quinn. I'm also a comic book reader so this cartoon really appealed to me. It's definitly not just for kids.
If you are intersted in checking it out, I know you get can get it on DVD....Netflix has it too.

Exactly. It was a pretty grow-up cartoon. I love how Mark Hamill voiced the Joker. He (and Harley) were my favorite characters on that show.

One of my favorite, more grown-up cartoons, was Samurai Jack. The use of silense in that show was amazing for an American cartoon. I'm not sure if it's still on the air or not. i know I haven't heard much about it recently.

Yeah, I've seen it. I really liked it. It had a style that isn't seen all that often, except on the Superman, Batman, and Justice League cartoons on Cartoon Network.

Wacky Racers was a classic. Funny note: When my mom laughs really hard, she sounds like Muttly (the dog). Most people don't get that though. LOL.

I used to really like Under Dog,the Flinstones and the Jetsons. Those were some of my favorites. Their isn't one that I totally miss. Although I think it's funny that my kids love Tom and Jerry. They still show that on the cartoon net wk channel.

NICE! Haven't even heard of most of them, but if you are a Freakazoid fan, those can't be too bad. Internet searching I a-go!

That's why I started this topic. To get people thinking about when they were young, or at least about cartoons, which brings a smile to almost everybody's face. LOL.

I totally wish they'd bring it back to, even if it was on Boomerang or something.

Freakazoid was fantastic and should have had a few more seasons. Animaniacs shouldn't of been cancelled, and neither should Pinky and the Brain, the new exec forcing Elmira into the mix messed up the show. Static Shock is another cartoon that should of continued, but because everyone "knows" that black characters don't sell action figures even though it had higher ratings then Pokemon. Also JLU should of continued, it was the perfect super hero team.
