Mine would have to be at xmas time when my momma started bringing out the decorations...she had these Glade candles that she used EVERY year and for some reason, they NEVER lost their scent. All of those candles had the wonderful scent of Bayberry. And each year at xmas now I just have to have at least one Bayberry candle to burn...just the smell reminds me of growing up and decorating the tree with momma and baking cookies with my grandma....all the hustle bustle of shopping and then coming home to wrap gifts in the basement with the wood stove burning...everything spread out on the ping pong table (the biggest table we owned)---ribbons, bows, wrapping paper, tags...amazing what memories a mere smell can recreate...

I guess my greatest holiday memories would be Christmas' when my whole family was together and not fighting. That has been a long time ago though. We are all spread out across arkansas, texas, missouri, and tennessee now. But those were great days.

Families fighting are not pleasant. My oldest daughter is going through that right now with her father's family. Her father's mother passed last August and it was rough enough due to that. Then the whole family started fighting and it was all over 'things' and 'money' I have known the family for over a decade and hadn't see this happen before.
