Why Do people smoke ?

In todays world you find about 30% people are smokers. these people smoke and bring themselves one step near to death. On the packets of cigarettes it is mentioned " Inguries to health " but still people use them. Why?.......................

People use them because they are addicted and can't stop.

In this fast moving materialistic world there are so many problems and stress which couldnot be managed without any stress reliever.So people go towards smoking which is really bad.in the biginning it looks ok and even good but in later stages it becomes curse.If people start thinking before smoking they will not smokewhat we need is awareness and education about ill effect of smoking.

there's a lot of reason why people smoke..the number 1 is peer pressure. People smoke because its addictive.

Nicotine is a powerful addiction which has been classified as just as addicting as heroine. Most people start smoking when they are young and have the normal attitude that they are indestructible. By time they see that bad things can happen and start to worry about their health the addiction has a firm hold and it is not easy to quit. This addiction is physical and psychological along with habit forming so you have to conquer more than just a simple bad habit.
