Why don't you teach a man to grow food?

I think this is a good point, and that third world countries could benefit a lot from being taught how to grow their own food and from environmental enrichment (ie, irrigation, etc) to help them do it. My fiance is growing what he calls a "honeymoon salad" because it is let-us-alone (lettuce alone, 3 different kinds of lettuce), and he's also growing tomatoes and bell peppers. I think the food he grows tastes a lot better than store bought and we don't have to use pesticides.
