I do understand how you feel and as a patriot of your nation you feel bruised. But what is happenbing here is that because the Statue of Liberty is a political landmark rather than a religious one..they..whoever has made this pic has taken it into a political satyre context and used it that way. But you have every right to feel as you do as it is a Status symbol for American Citizens..

I feel that it's disrespectful towards americans. Why on earth would someone want to make the statue of liberty smoke anyways? that's just down right wrong.

I understand your protest, but many famous political and ALSO religious land marks have been made fun off over the years. Religious ones are much more important.
If that image is pi$$ing you off, then perhaps movies like Independance day, Godzilla, Mars Attacks, etc, where all the famous American land marks being blown up and smashed, should stir the same reaction. I don't see you starting a discussion about it.
Take it easy, inhale a very deep breath and relax. What you saw is just humor, harmless. You should smile at the concept and admire the creativity. You'd live better and longer this way, Trust me ;-)
