I have always believed that it's important to guide children on what they watch on tv. I try to regulate tv viewings and ban those with too much violence. Recently, my son insists that he likes to watch wrestling and that he's convincing me to permit him to saying he can already control himself. :) I did actually, with trepidation, is it that safe to let him see that much violence? Whay do kids like wrestling? I assume he got the influence from his bigger cousins and uncles who talk about it - wrestling - and it sounded cool to him to be up to date.

it is ok for him to watch it. Wrestling is a favorite past time for many people, I grew up watching it and so did all three of my kids and we all turned out just fine. he may also be hearing kids at school talk about their favorite wreastler and he can talk about any of his because you make him feel left out because he cant watch it to know what is going on with it. That would be like my mom telling me when I was growing up that I could not watch Superman or Batman because they beat up people.

Thank you :) Sometimes the weight of parenting can be such that I don't even know whether I am just overacting or paranoid. It's good hear from someone who had been there.:)
