Some days ago,I watched TV and happened to see a program named The light of caves, this program was made by a local TV station with the purpose for helping six urban boys who were addicted into net games and had tense relationship with their parents to get rid of the bad habbit by senting them to a remote mountainous area to experience the bitterness of poor life, the boys were arranged to live in the local children's home---caves,the people there were live in the caves, they spent the most unforgettable time and experienced the greatest transition in their lives.
During the period of half a month, the boys got along well with the local children, they were strongly impressed by their simplicity and hospitality, corn and sweet potatoes were the staple food and if they want to use water, they had to fetch it by walking for miles of cragged foothill, however, under such bitter environment, the local children cherished the chance of study badly and ignored all the difficulties that seemed impossible to solve for the urban boys, from them, the boys learned much about life and how to conduct themselves in life, they became to contemplate the real important things in their life, and they began to understand theie parents, when they were free, they confessed and regreted for their discourtesy and stupid behavior to their parents, before the camera, they were full of tears and the decision to start with a clean slate. The time was up soon, the boys had to back home, although they always missed home and their beloved parents at any time, they felt cheerless about the coming departure, they had built profound frindship with the kind cave children,in the apopemptic party, the six urban boys adressed their feelings in turn, all of them bursted into tears because they really got to know what was the true love and what they should do in the future, they were so excited and soulful, every person there including the journalists(and I) was deeply touched and piped their eyes...At that moment, the boys' parents had been invited to there secretly and hid in the classroom(the boys and other children were outside the classroom), they heard everything, feeling gratified and badly moved by boys' wholehearted compunction and love ,they couldn't help weeping, and then, came the most touching moment, the journalists asked the tearful boys to turn around, they saw their tearful parents, boys rushed into their arms and cried, one of the boys shouted before the crowd:"I love my mother!I swear I will try my best to be a real man!",then he hugged his mother tightly and kissed her affectionately, seeing that,my tears wetted my eyes...
I hope all the children can understand their parents and cherish their love!
Remember that, parents are the best people in one's life...
Be good,do right,more understanding,more happiness.

Wow.........how amazing!
It is great to have shows like that on TV when we are surrounded by crap! The internet games thing can be serious. I have a few friends who basically live for their games. One quit his job and relies on his wife because he is too busy playing his games......his 2 1/2 year old son plays Quake better than anyone I have ever met.
It is good that they are doing something for these children, but there are several ways to help your children break this addiction. My mother delt with the same thing with my brother, until they got into Tae Kwon Do. Now, even though my brother still plays he has learned to budget his time more wisely.
Thank you for posting this inspirational story!!!!!

it is a good way to teach discipline to children who only believe in money power.
