Till date, i did not deny friend's request as i feel bad to deny the request. So i always try to accept the friends request who ever he /she is. DO you do that? Do you ever deny friends' request? Should we deny some request? While approving friends request, do we need to see their profile? I never view their profile before approving, but after i do view? What you do please let me know.

I must confess I do deny friend's request. As I don't stay much time at myLot nowadays, I don't want to see my email box full of discussions to answer. I prefer to have a few friends that match with me in some aspects, be them age, interests, discussions about topics common to all nationalities, etc. As lately I don't post new discussions and just respond to them, probably I will end answering discussions from someone whose "friendship" I denied, without knowing. And after time, perhaps I will think that fellow's discussions are interesting and it will be me who will ask for his(her) "friendship". If he or she refuses to accept it, I'll try not to feel bad.

I tend to look at their profile pages, and get an idea of what their interests/opinions are and what they think of various issues. I have denied a couple of friend requests in the past, when I think people are just trying to sell a product, or if they are racist or bigoted, or judgemental, I tend to deny the request. I like to find out a bit about the person first, then I make up my mind.

Even before i was started here at mylot. I wanted to have more friends and i'm accepting new friends and i dont deny friends request because i dont want them to feel bad. And i dont wanted to be denied too. The more friends that you have, the more response you can accept and the more earnings you got. All friends here, welcome and i thank you all..

No, i don't deny any friend requests at mylot. I'm indeed happy to see that there are people who wants me to become their list of friends even if we don't know each other. I also feel bad if I don't accept them. It's as if I'm hiding anything from them if I won't accept them. :) Besides, this is what mylot is for... having more and more friends, am i right? :)

I do deny people from tiem to time. I usually add people if I've seemed to respond a lot to their discussions. I'll also add them if I see they reply to a lot of my discussions.I guess it's just how I feel we'd connect.

To date, I have not yet denied any friend's request. First, I look at their profiles, then at the discussions they have started, then approve their requests. Generally, their discussions are acceptable, and I don't find any reason why I should deny any one except for very extreme cases like if I find the one requesting to have been rude, impolite and lacking in sensitivity to other mylotters' feelings, etc.

Hi Shila07, I never deny friend request. I don't even look at their profiles when I accept them to my list. I don't receive friend request everyday but whenever I receive one, I quickly add he/she to my list. I don't mind to have them. At this very moment, my list is not that long that I will have headache to accept/deny friend request. I don't think much about this problem for the time being. Some people do have thousands in their list and I fully understand the difficulty they are facing whenever they have a new friend request.
