I think the best way to treat it is the natural way..
Try to boil water and let it cool down for some time, but not to make it cold. Put it in a basin and pour some salt in it, then put feet in it and let it rest for about half an hour.
I've seen this done by some of my friends, and I think it's also effective..

Sweaty feet and Smelly feet can be an embarrassing condition that causes distress to your family, your friends and affects your self confidence. For this problem i use "Callusan Fresh" mouse :
Keeps feet dry fresh,
Prevents odours,
Stops microbial infections (by keeping feet clean) and revitalizes fatigued skin with nourishing such as glycerine.

Try some medical soaks? If you can find any Chinese medicine shops near you, I think you might be able to ask for recommendations. Make sure it is not some "simple" hygiene problem though. :P

I do a lot of running especially at the gym so my feet get very sweaty, I wash them well in the shower and afterwards I dry them carefully then apply peppermint foot lotion which I get from Body Shop, it leaves my feet feeling very refreshed and smelling of peppermint, works a treat.

Trust me when I say this, but try BABY POWDER, the actual baby powder that you would use on a baby. It really works, my husband had a really bad problem with smelly feet and tried everything and nothing worked, not even foot powder worked, so I thought if baby powder and it has worked for him 100%.
Just make sure you dry your feet and between the toes after a shower and then just put some baby powder on, cake the powder on. The thing with baby powder is that it doesn't harm you, doesn't even matter if you use a lot or not. Make sure you get it between the toes really well and maybe even inside your socks as well.
So just put baby powder all over your feet and then put some socks on and it will work for you.
Plus baby powder is cheap and smell good. :)
Baby powder helps with moisture.
Good luck, let me know if it works!

I don't know how effective this is, but my boyfriend's dad used to make his little brother stick his feet in a small amount of kerosene! I think they mixed a few cups of kerosene with water but I have no idea if this works! Originally we are not supposed to smell bad at all! We shouldn't smell from our armpits or feet and such, but the things we eat cause us to smell bad! The food we eat have man-made chemicals in them and cause odor in our bodies! This is why babies don't smell bad! They haven't eaten all the bad things that we have! Good Luck!

My friend uses foot powder. I don't know if it has worked for her though. I think it works because I'venever heard her complain of having smelly feet anymore.

my recommendation is as follows:
1) regularly change sock.
2) make sure that feet is dry before wearing your shoes, and don't forget to wear a sock.. :)
3) some says that applying a foot powder is effective, somehow what cause the smell is the sweat from the foot so if you apply foot powder it will help the foot to stay dry atleast..
4) wash foot regularly..
5) clean the shoes always.
6) observe proper hygiene...
thats all hope this helps.. :) cheers.

Always wear a clean and new pair of socks. And "charcoal socks" if I'm right with the name, are also available in the market. My friends said that they are very effective. And try to pour some "tawas" in lukewarm water. It helps to dry the feet. I think is the moisture that causes the bad smell usually. And apply any recommended foot lotion so that it won't get dry too much. And put newspaper in his shoes it will absorb the moisture and bad smells.

I think that you have to be very careful about your shoes...change it regularly, use only good shoes, pay attention to wear socks in your gym shoes and so on...then a good thing is to wash your feet regularly, and you can try adding some good salts to the water...there are also some good smelling powder and spray to use directly on your feet and in the shoes...of course you may be sure that you have no skin problems!!! I hope I am clear enough and I hope I can be of any help

I had this problem now and then but it was like once a year or something like that.
Well it would sometimes work to leave the shoes outside to freshen over night, then add baby powder, the one they use on their bottoms to avoid rashes and so on, talcum powder I think is the correct name, in the shoes and on your feet, just a bit in the shoes and rub some on your feet.
Be sure to wear socks and if you use closed shoes without socks it tends to make them sweat more.
If you find it happens a lot it might be some sort of gland problem or even the shoe that needs a deep cleaning... it won't heart to consult a doctor on the issue just in case, preferably a specialist of feet. (;
