what do you prefer...piracy cd's or original cd's

i had a business in front of a public market..and i can see pirated cd's everywhere..people kept on buying them! maybe they are enjoying because its a lot cheaper than the original one. i also admit that i once was a "pirated cd addict".. i used to buy them every other day..that was until i heard my friend working at a video shop that his work there was unstable..because pirated cd's are everywhere people are hesitant to visit their video shop knowing that pirated cd's are less expensive. but what can we do?!.. i have to save some of my money without suffering myself from not watching great movies..i wanted to quit from this addiction..step by step..how about you? what do you prefer?

Pirate copies of cds and movies are illegal, and although pirate copies are cheaper, they are often very poor quality and unplayable. I have friends in the music community who suffer when cds are copied and pirated. I have bought dvds only to find they are poor pirated copies, I would rather pay that little bit more and get the real thing.
