Both India and Pakistan suffered ignominious defeats at the hands of less-fancied teams on Saturday. While India have a chance to still make amends and enter the next round, Pakistan have become the first team to be eliminated from the tournament, failing to make the Super Eight after their defeat at the hands of World Cup debutantes Ireland. As sportsmen, we all have faced terrible defeats and seen the odd upset. However, it is the manner in which the Pakistan team has succumbed that is so difficult to digest. This can be attributed to two basic factors. First, the timid, uninspiring leadership of Inzamam-ul-Huq, and second, the brainless strategy and tactics applied by the team.

pakistan's defeat is unbelievable especially with their strong dedicated players. but even suprising is india's defeat in the very first match that too against bangladesh which really manifests the brainless strategy and tactics applied by every member of the team and those great cricket critics who planned the strategies for the match. but the fact is that the bangladesh team has fared extremely well and looks like they have done their homework outstandingly. the indians need to learn a lesson from the defeat and keep the word of the indian fans who are holding lot of hope on these players.
