Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, has said that the present crisis in the country underscores the need for a fast return to democracy, Sahara Samay sources said. "The judicial crisis highlights one very important fact that if you don't bring about a peaceful political transfer, events could get out of control because there is a lot of frustration," she said. "The judicial crisis has touched a raw nerve, which has shown how deep-seeded the frustration within Pakistan is. I believe it's important for all of us who want a stable Pakistan to work for a transition to democracy," Benazir added. There some much violence in Pakistan recently over the suspension of Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry as the Chief Justice of Pakistan on March 9.
