I had all along enjoyed posting unpaid at Yahoo! Answers when I read about myLot from the post of a fellow member. I jumped at it, hoping to make big money. However, I have discovered that the pittance being paid by myLot cannot make me any much richer, if at all, considering the monetary cost I incur in the exercise. Now that the prospect of making money that brought me to myLot is not materialising as originally envisaged, I have not found it necessary to leave because "half a loaf is better than none". Moreover, I am getting my fun and other non-pecuniary benefits from this site, as I have always done on similar sites.

At first the idea of earning a couple of bucks to chat sounded great. And now that I have gotten into the site, I love being able to chat about so many different topics and read so many differing opinions. The money I could earn is just a bonus to the conversation.

Yes you are right most of the people responding to the discussions is for money but thats only for few days I think it soon becomes a habit and they develop love and in a way addiction for the site as we get so many different type of topics to respond and also the responses most of the times great.
