yes , this was true ,is true and will be true.
if doesn't respect our parents, so what we will expect frm our progeny.

Ya you are right, we have to respect our parents. It is not a give and take policy. I dont think that everyone should respect their parents thinking that only then they will be respected. It should come from heart. Respect should not be created.
