Caring for the environment!!

Simple just be responsible to your own actionn. We have to start first in our own deeds before telling others to do that and this. Giving good example to others will help. Example, throwing your own waste in the waste basket. Recyling the recyclable materials that you are using, etc.

I care about the environment. My family and I recycle plastics, paper, and cardboard. A lot of our neighbors aren't much into recycling. I would see plastics and other recyclable things in the trash cans because they are too lazy to walk to the recycling area. I also love to recycle Christmas cards. Instead of me throwing them away, I would tear the front side of the card where the picture is, and make them into christmas postcards :)

There isn't much that I can do in my area as I live in farmland and there isn't much of a problem, at least not that I can personaly change, I do try to plant trees and get people aware of our environment. Right now I am going to school for interior design and I'm very interested in whats called green design, useing only natural products in and outside your home. One of the best products out there is bamboo flooring, bamboo is a weed and grows quickly so it can be reproduced very fast unlike trees. I have been trying to talk people in my area who are looking into hardwood floors to use bamboo instead, most have!

Good for you, for having the courage of your convictions. I don't know that I could have done that. I do try to be environmentally conscious myself, putting things in their proper receptacles.

You are good. I am also a environmentalist, but I can just keep my actions right. I seldom have the courage to stop others from doing harm to our environment. Sometimes I knew that I should go up and said:"Hey! You, pick it up ,throw it in trash can." But I just didn't make it. Am I a shy boy?
