how real the secret really is!

Can you give any specific examples of when you've seen people keep it to themselves? I think very possibly it was at least subconsciously kept from "the common person" by them not being invited to high level meetings. Having had both a very poor and a rather high paying job in my life, I've seen both sides. And yes they're really different, in how people think and talk. It's sort of a shame that more companies aren't more democratic as to how they exclude certain employees from decision-making meetings. I suppose they think the "lower level" employee couldn't contribute much, or maybe wouldn't understand how the company's processes work. I don't think this is a conscious or on purpose exclusion, but of course it has the same effect. The deliberate exclusions would have to come from a basis of fear of there "not being enough to go around", I think.

The funny thing about the Law of Attraction is that it is incredibly simple, yet people are so used to their lives being anything BUT simple that they have a hard time getting their head around the whole idea. It all boils down to focusing on what you want, and when you do, you find that yes, there is more than enough of everything for everyone!

Great starter topic for a new person, I look forward to reading more posts of yours. As for the DVD, my neighbors mother sent her a copy and we watched it. I already believe in the Law Of Attraction but on a much different level than what they are talking about. I have always believed in good energy and bad energy & in what you put out into the world is what you will get back in return. In other words, if you are a negative person, a low life, etc. type of person then that is what you will attract in return, period. Have you ever noticed how some people seem to have good things happen for them for no reason, or good things always happening for them? It's all about your energy level or the type of person you are...... As far as visualization, well I disagreed with them on that. People will need to do more than just imagine and ask for what they want. And they make it appear as if, just using a good imigination is all that it takes, that I am not sold on. But overall, in terms of pos. attracting pos. and neg attracting neg. which is the point I believe they were making, I believe that; I live that life and I can tell you for a fact it is true. Good things, un-expected good things/nice things happen to me all the time. But, also know, I put out good energy too....I'm not a total waste of human space, get my point? BTW-They discussed that DVD on Nightline tonight, were you able to catch it? Welcome aboard.

The Secret is an excellent movie. If you want to know more about why things work, delve into Quantum Physics, The Elegant Universe, The Holographic Universe, read some Fred Alan Wolfe... But as someone who was having a very difficult time for over a year, the Secret brought my ideas alive and unified them, and after practicing these techniques for a couple of months, our lives have gotten much better. Our financial situation has improved, although bills haven't changed nor my income (money keeps trickling in from odd places), we are happier, healthier, and in better humor, and the day to day struggles have dissipated. Yay Secret!
