Does beauty affect one's success in life?

well, it depends. for instance, if you're a print model, physical beauty and maintaining that beauty would be important. otherwise, i guess the amount of hard work that we put in a given task would determine our success.

I do agree that, although intelligent, talent, skills are also important. But I wanna ask you something, if u see someone looks fat, ugly..etc etc, what will you think, I guess some people may run away as fast as they can, a bit exaggerated lol... anyway, beauty really affect whether we success or not to a certain extent. But some boss will choose one with beauty and intelligent for getting a better job position, with higher salaries.... In economics, beauty is a kind of capital goods because it assist production, so beauty is important, especially boss may pick those with beauty for negotiate with other company in business. (forgive me, my english is really bad)

I think that one's physical appearance plays a large part in his/her success. Toward that end, opne should at least do one's best in terms of personal hygiene and proper clothing. All other things being nearly equal, good looks usually win out.
