I married my CHILDHOOD SWEETHEART!

Yep! I did! When my wife and I were 9 years old, my older brother and her older sister began dating, and eventually were married. All the while, we had a puppy-love going that would prove to be more lasting than could have been imagined. We were not geographically close, so didn't see much of each other through our teen years, but we 'reconnected' in our late teens, and were married not too long afterward. And, we're still married...nearly 40 years later!
I'm wondering how many folks out there actually married THEIR CHILDHOOD SWEETHEARTS, and what some of those stories are?

that is a great story. I married someone I met when he was 14 and I was 16. We have been married 42 years

wow good for you...!Maybe you were really destined to fall with each other. Destiny and love sometimes domain each other but with you it looks like they were happy with your everlasting promise. Well take care of your relationship...goodluck for the honeymoon.
