well i actually met my girlfriend online. She messaged me because we were from the same area. Myspace is another good place because you can find people within a certain radius from you and you can do specific searches like smokers, non drinkers, religion all of it and you can even find people you went to school with. I would definately give it a go because ou have nothing to lose. A word of advice though, dont go out to make a partner straight away, go out for friends and you will end up with plenty of offers
