How does everyone make money on the Internet?

I would like to know how everyone is making money on the internet? I dont make that much, between here and the sites like mypoints and paid to read emails sites. I am trying to make a goal of making a least $500-$1000 a month, and want to know the best paying sites out there to make money on, and dont give me agloco or take back the internet I already belong to theses ones.
