Best Machine Ever Invented?

I totally agree. It's gotta be my puter. I've met many wonderful people face 2 face all over the United States due to my computer. I've talked with many from all over the world via chatrooms and internet phone services. Now I'm writing to and getting responses from people all over the world also. Plus you can't forget the games and many other things that interest us all that's available through the Internet. God Bless Man for creating the puter. Hee hee. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

My grandfather is a biomedical technician and works with medical machines in hospitals so I'd have to say the best machine invented is one of those that saves people's lives every day. But I guess those machines are computers-therefore computers are the best machines invented! Though if I had to live without either my computer or my cd player and cds, I'd have to lose the computer.. :-)

It seems a little generous to consider a computer to be the best machine ever invented, but it certainly has made a vast difference to the everyday lives of millions of people. The incredible thing about computers is the vast variety of functions that it can perform. I use mine to play music, create and print stationery and greetings cards, edit photographs, record my finances and countless other uses. I even used the computer as an answer machine for my home telephone a few years ago. It may not be the greatest invention ever, but it has certainly developed at a phenomenal rate over the past few years.

I'm going to presume you mean the computer that or just the keyboard. I doubt it's just the keyboard though because without the computer and the internet I wouldn't be able to view your discussion in order to respond. It's all part of one big unit though, computer, keyboard and internet that allows us to do so much. To view the world from our living rooms, to meet people from all over and never get dressed, and to just have a bit of fun all around. I love the computer and the internet. It has altered my life in a lot of good ways and I would hate to have to give that up.

I don't agree with you somewhat. Yes, computer was indeed a great invention of recent centuries, but you could not say it is the best machine ever invented if you trace back to the history of humankind. I say this is according to the inventions' contributions to humankind. In my opinion, some inventions such as steamer, electricity generator etc, contribute more to mankind than computer do. Maybe computer is the best invention in your mind, but not in everyone's mind.

I agree that the computer and in particular the Internet is the best thing ever invented. I would not want to be without my computer and spend hours on it each day.

ALmost everybody agrees that computer is the best machine ever invented this present time. I agree too. In fact, computer gives not only leisure but money to users who knows how to utilize its usage.

Yes it's the dream machine :) it's funny that we can't imagine our lives without it although we didn't grow up using it :)

Yes I agree a computer, well, I would not vote at all. I like cd players, Ipods, Computers, Labtops. Did you know the fastest thing the A human made thing was a space probe named Pioneer 10? it went over 10,000 miles an hour in space due to Jupiters gravity.

Vry diffiult to say. I thought the best invention was wheel. Telephone and electric bulb also stay nearby. But wheel leads and it changed the life of human completely.

Yeah, a computer is a huge turning point in our lives! I LOVE COMPUTERS :D I can use it practically everywhere - school, business, entertainment etc.)! :)

Well, to some degree computer truely make our life easier and better. But We are troubled by computers. Just think of the conputer crime? If there was no computer, how can they steal money from other's account? What's more, we are now so restricted to computers that if the computer break down, we can do nothing! That's really terrible.

I agree for sure with you! Of course you are talking of computers! They are great because you can type things and store them on their big memories or you can send your text or images or movies to friends or to all the world! You can communicate easily with all the world....through this "box" called computer. Unfortunately isn't intelligent like us...but I think it will be more and more intelligent in the future! I love my computer, I love computers! For sure it's the best machine ever invented! It helps our society to speed up and grew up faster!

I agree that computer is the best machine invented for me because I need it very much especially for the books. It's cheaper too in talking with people abroad. Then we can now earn even a little just being at home relaxing and talking with friends like these discussing whatever topic under the sun. What else do we want. I agree with you there.Computer is the best machine ever invented.It is soo easy to get across information to the whole world withing minutes.I love the way you can connect to any country now.You can make friends anywhere,just like here on mylot.I cannot imagine how life would be without the computer in this age.Useful for everyone starting from pre-schoolers to senior citizens,it is a great way to gather information as well.and the best is,with just the internet connection,you can find whatever information you want from the whole world!

You got it deeeky, the computer is the best device ever invented. This is one of the ingredients in my everyday life. I can't live without the computer together with my connection. Today it turns out to be a basic needs in every household.
