In an awesome display of batting, Team India notched up 413/5 off 50 overs in their second match against minnows Bermuda. This is the record highest score by any team in the World Cup.
Good news for Indian Cricket fans. Sehwag seems to be back in form. He scored an impressive 114 off 87 balls and he seems to have regained confidence. If thats the case, India will definitely do well in this World Cup.
Later we saw an awesome batting performance by Yuvi and the Master, Sachin Tendulkar. Yuvi scored a powerful 83 off 46 balls including 4 fours and 7 sixes. Sachin, on the other hand looked in ominous touch. Coming at No.6, he scored 57 off just 29 balls including 4 sixes and 2 fours. One of the fours was a fabulous reverse sweep off Dwayne Leverock. Ganguly, too scored 89 off 114 deliveries. He looked a bit slow. Not taking anything from him, if he had been a little faster, India would have reached 450 for sure. But all in all, tremendous batting performance by Team India.
Now, the bottom line. India will definitely gain a good net run rate from this match. Now, I feel, irrespective of the performance of other teams, India just needs to win against Sri Lanka to confirm their place in the Super 8s.

I think that we should not read too much into a performance against Bermuda. Their dibbly dobbly bowlers were worse than what we have at club cricket level. I am really wondering how they qualified in the first place.
Anyhow, the good thing is that Sehwag, Yuvi and Sachin did get some runs against their name. But, Ganguly was struggling with his timing again today. I thought he struggled against Bangladesh as well and could not time the ball as he used to. That is a major concern for me.
Cheers!

The major positive is that they must have regained their confidence and self belief. They were really down after their loss against Bangladesh. Now, they must be feeling very good and must be ready to defeat Sri Lanka as well.

i will agree yo u only if sehwag score even a half century against srilanka. as sehwag is another name for mr. undependable who against minnows have scored a century. but even against a medium team will be back to same(getting out for under 10). sehwag has scored a century after 2 & half years, that is not expected from an international players. so keep ur finger cross for match against srilanka, then reply me.
