I find it amazing that the anti-hunting movement has gained so much popularity. The sportsman groups in some states make up over half of the parks department and wildlife management budgets. Do you support hunting, do you not like it but understand the need for it or do you oppose it?

I hunt and so does my husband. But I am a hunter that supports it as long as the meat will be used for food consuption. I don't believe in killing just for the sake of killing.
I always find it amazing that the ones who are most against hunting often are the ones who complain the most when deer or other animals get in their yards and cause damage.
If we didn't have hunting, animal populations would soon get out of control, that is why it is referred to as deer management. Also in areas where winter is harsh animals have a harder time surviving, the more animals there are the higher the competition for food resources especially in deep snow.
I definately understand the need for it.
