I am not allergic to anything right now.. When I was little, I had one allergic reaction to egg and seafood.. But I no longer have that (thank God!!! I love seafood!!! =p~)
When I came to the US, I learned that people can be allergic to so many things.. Dairy products, peanuts, alcohol, MSG, etc... I was astonished.. Never knew that you could be allergic to milk!! And peanuts!! =) But now I know that these cases are real.. =)
So, are you allergic to anything?

As far as I know, I don't have any food allergies, but I am very allergic to a ton of other things. I'm allergic to most trees, grasses, and weeds (BAD for me since I live in Washington!), dogs, cats, horses, cows, dust mites...the list goes on. I take Zyrtec for my allergies which seems to keep them under control, but sometimes my allergies get so bad that the Zyrtec doesn't help me. I've been thinking about getting the allergy shots since I'm so allergic to practically everything, but I haven't got around to it yet.

Oh wow... Will the allergic shot be more powerful than the regular medication? It must have been hard for you to go out everyday, especially in the summer or spring, mustn't it?

I think Holi is a Hindu festival in India called Festival of Colors where young people put colors on their faces.

Years ago, a doctor prescribed an antibiotic called Eurothromycin and after taking that I developed rashes on my skin. Since then I have never taken any antibiotics. I would rather use a herbal remedy to cure my illness before I resort to over the counter medications.

That was close, wasn't it... What does iodine do when you give birth anyways? At least you can still eat some of the seafood! =)

I was allergic to dairy when I was a baby but outgrew it. I am allergic to Calamine Lotion, Demerol, Morphine and I also have allergy issues with dogs and cats, especially if they have long hair. House dust, grass, pollen and such also set me to sneezing. I take a couple of daily medications and they really help.

Did you outgrow your dairy allergy because you were exposed to dairy products a lot, or what happened? Just curious.. =)

I was born with a lot of terrible allergies. I got it on my mother's side. I'm allergic to any yellow coloring food, mosquitoes, dust mites and dust. I'm also very particular with the kind of products I'm using in my face and body. There will be a certain ingredient that will trigger my allergy. Its difficult but I survive.

Specific yellow coloring food? Hmm.. That's interesting... And mosquitoes? Wow.. I bet it must be hard for you to buy products everyday... Have to check the ingredient lists, and then pick other products if the first product that you chose had something in it that you can't use on your body... I wish you all the best, charms88! =)

Its with almost everyone that he/she is allergic to different things. Its of great surprise to me too that I have seen people allergic to milk, chocolates etc!Untill recently I beleived that I am not allergic to anything.
Some time ago when I was living in different city which was a bit polluted and roads were full of vehicles always I had had cold often.since when I have come in another city(which is hilly are, very calm and green all around) to do my engineering,I found that I have never caught cold. And again whenever I go to that city it starts catching cold.I visited a docter and then he explained me that I have allergy with dust, pollution etc.

Yes... I'm not allergic to milk, but I am milk intolerant.. I got diarrhea or gassy stomach2 when I drink milk 'too much'... But it can be solved by drinking milk regularly... Well, I am not a big fun of milk, either, so it's not a big problem to me... But yogurt and other dairy products are awesome... It is weird.. Haha.. I guess that I am grateful that I do not have some of the allergy that people have towards everyday stuff... That would have been hard for me.. =)

Oh... Has that been giving you problems in the past? In the present time? Can you have substitutions for the certain type of medicine that you can't take because of your allergy to it?

I have mild allergies to cat hair, along with my partner. I find that with regular vacuuming we keep the allergies down to a minimum.
I also suffer from Hayfever, so pollen, freshly cut grass, rapeseed, anything like that can set me off sneezing, and my eyes watering and sore. it makes me rather miserable to say the least.

I just recently saw it on TV that a girl is allergic to the sun ray... Every time she has a direct contact with the sun, she could be collapsed and end up in emergency room... Now that doesn't sound like fun for an active 12-year-old teenage girl, does it.. =) She has to wear long sleeve shirts and long pants...AND gloves and hat in a 100 degree sunny day... I don't think she has any medication that can help her with her reaction... So, your allergy could be different than hers.. But.. Wow... Some people have a very strange allergy reactions to just everyday stuff.. The other people should not take it for granted and be grateful that they don't... =)
