How many DAYS can you GO without GETTING on the INTERNET??

Me, the most I can do is one (1) day, I get antsy and always want to check my mail, my eBay page, my Outlook, MyLot, there are so many places I go in one day on the internet, I am unsure what I would do if I did not get online as much as I do. What about you, could you go days or weeks without getting on the INTERNET??

Sounds like it is time to get a new computer, I could not stand it if someone took the only computer out of the house, I don't even read a phonebook these days, it is easier to read and see on the computer and faster too ~ thanks for contributing

I know I can go a few days(for example this past friday we went to the inlaws for the weekend and didnt get home until Sunday afternoon) but I'm pretty sure I could go for a week. Longer would be possible but I would be getting antsy, lol. It's not so much the time I spend online - although I can spend a few hours playing Runescape, lol - some days all I will do is check my mail in the evening and thats it. I just want to have the access I guess, in case I get bored I know there's always SOMETHING to do online.

humm, think last year I had a couple of days that I didn't get on, I survived, but I like to get on so I don't wind up with 300+ emails!

Honestly, I don't think I could make it a day without the internet. I'm always having to check my e-mail or be online chatting with friends or something. I go nuts if I'm without power or the internet for just a few moments. LOL Sounds crazy, I know, but hey... It's my main form of communication! Ok, that too sounds crazy... Oh well.

A couple of days, maybe. It is very stressing not to be able to myLot. I used to be worse. I am trying to be a recovering myLottaholic. I know that I start my day better if I do not get online before I go to work. But some days it is sooooo HARD. I like my e-mails to all of my friends as well. I get some jobs through the internet, and so I guess it is just a fact of life for me.

well considering i work on a computer and alot of our manuals and stuff our on our works secure website, so if i count the weekend, i could probably only go about 2 days, but it would have to be because i am on a trip somewhere or camping.

I don't know. To be honest, I'm not sure I would want to find out. If I was internet deprived for a while, I would have to come back and hit the delete button on the bulk mail box. I have several people who E-Mail me regularly. I would have to just sit down and start going through everything that came through for as long as I was deprived. I just don't know how long I could do that at one stretch. I wonder if a body could exhibit withdrawal symptoms from internet deprivation. What does everyone else think?

I need to be on the computer every day. Without it I am totally lost. I need it for email, pogo and myLot. I am going to be gone away for over 3 weeks this summer. I hope my Dad has his internet working.

I hear ya Linda, I don't go anywhere unless I know there is an internet connection available (and I prefer DSL service), such as the day and age we live in these day. Thanks for sharing
