I have had this theory for years, see if you agree with me. I have always noticed that in the mid-morning (8-9:00 am) and mid-afternoons (3-5:00 pm) and late evenings (9-10:00 pm) are busier on the internet than usual, in fact, I find that during these peak hours that my internet connection goes down more than any other time, my theory is that all the kids are home from school and playing on the internet, hence boggin down the service. Have you ever noticed this?

Yes, as a matter of fact I have at exactly the times that you stated. I live in Michigan and around 9 am it starts to slow down and again at 3 pm. In fact when it slows down in the afternoon, I don't even have to look up at the clock because I know it is 3 pm. I think you may be right!

I always blame it on the kids in chatrooms, but it could be just the general population, thanks for contributing

You are correct, the amount of traffic on the Internet varies and during busy periods you may find that your Internet experience is a bit slower.
Websites such as the www.internettrafficreport.com monitor the amount of traffic on the network and update the statistics on their site.
