some kids drop out of high school cuz they don't like it, or prefer working
anyone who gets into College can pay for it
the government has low interest loans and sometimes even grants to help and to make sure of that
you fill out a form FAFSA , really easy like 2 pages, then they get you loans and or work study and or grants

Actually the Fafsa is super long, but it is very helpful in attaining financial aid. In many cases, Universities wont award aid without it. Many people are afraid of the costs of college because the simply do not know about all the types of aid avaliable. I receive many Grants and Scholarships that I worked hard for to put myself through college. Finding money is hard work, but can be done, there are many organisations that help poverty stricken students.

ya colleges are xpensive....but the gov here is payin students to study...so i odnt think that shud be a reason here!!!
i think the main reason is that these kids lack ambition or maybe their living situation isnt that good....so as soon as they get a job they drop out of skool111!!!

i do not agree with this
most of the students i know that dropped out from high school did make it to the university
i do not think regular study or school program is fit for every teenager
i met alote of briliant people in my life that i grow up with and that i met at different stages of my life that did not graduate high school
those people usually said they had alote of different things on their minds when they were in high school and did not think or see any point in continuing in it.
others said that they wanted to learn things in a different way but the program of the usual schools was so strict and not flexible that they did not see any use in continuing it..i know that i learned in an open school were students decided what and how they are to learn things that they are interested in them..i did finish that school and did finish university and do want to do my second degree in somthing that interests me..so most of the people drop out of school because they do not like it and alote of them do go to universities..:) and it is not the money issue usually..here in my country you do not have to pay in order to learn at high school

Many kids drop out of highschool because they believe that their family needs them to help support them financially. Others think that its a waste of time and that getting their GED is super easy. Sadly, many do not take the inicitive to study for a GED and are subjected to poor quality jobs.
Attending college is a very expensive move, I know because thats the point in my life that I'm at right now. Along with the cost ((which is the main problem)), some students aren't able to avoid the massive party scene and end up failing out. Again some people also feel that college is a waste of time and move on to full time jobs, limiting their potential job opportunities.
Also some people have found high paying jobs with out a college degree. It all just comes down to choices.
