There is much talk about reincarnation here. What about pre existens in another way: We existed in the bosom of Gods love as "unreadymades". But loved. As for me, pre existense explains why there exists the concept of REUNITING with God via religion. After all, Re ligio comes from re legere (latin) =reunite. This explains at least for me why a former atheist, like me, for exemple could experience the wownderful feeling of RECOGNITION, when beoming a believer.
