I like to use wikepedia.
They help a lot in elaborating school work.
Some articles are well written and if you think something is wrong you can submit a change that may be approved or not. Since it's free I think it's a very good site.

Depends on what you use it for and the specific article. Some articles are very well thought out and cited well, whereas others need a little work. Because it is a user-contributed encyclopedia, it does have more relevant and detailed information, but you have to be careful that your not just reading non-sense. Check the bottom of the page for footnotes or citations if you want to know the value of what you're reading.
However, in my experience, I have gotten some great, timely, and detailed info from wikipedia without having to dredge through a search engine's returns to get the same stuff.
It's also excellent for numerical and factual data like percentiles and geographical info.

i think wikkipedia is awesome. its got so many things you can look up and it gives you just enough info to know whether you want to know more or not.
