SMOKING -- in the early age

yea people start at these age also and the one of the most reason is social life, as there parents may or may not do this but they will do if the friends are doing it ,,,,, then sometime just as an interesting act they do and fall for that act and fall for addiction , most of the smokers started like that only , infact i am like that only when i knew i am addicted almost the time was too far to quit tried many times but never affected much so just switched to reducing them now........cheers

I don't see how kids can afford to smoke. Where are they getting the money for such an expensive habit. Kids often have the mistaken idea that it looks cool to smoke. They are wrong. If they took a poll at their school they would find out that only a few of the kids think it looks cool. The ones who are the most successful in school, and later in life, are the ones who don't smoke. And they are the healthiest, also.

It can have a lot to do with both. If parents smoke, it tells the kid it's alright to smoke. However, at the same time the teen years are a time of experimentation. Some kids smoke to see what the big deal is, some to fit in, some to feel cool. Others smoke as a form of rebellion. The reason someone smokes is different for every person.
