I think there are way to many divorces today because of money, not understanding each other, and cheating.

In my opinion, there are many reasons. The most reason is that people's requires are much higher than before. If there has too much unsatisfaction with their familys, they want to divorce to look for more approving family and love.In another important reason is that people now are more selfish than before, and now focused on themselves more than on others.

I think one of the reasons is because people aren't taught how to compromise anymore. It's been said a lot that this is the 'me' generation, so that would mean no compromise, and it's 'my way or the highway.' Plus, in this day and age there are a lot of people who don't know (or want) to work on their marriage. It's a shame, really. So many don't take their vows seriously. And it seems they often don't really marry for love, meaning that they're so attuned to wanting to get married and have that big wedding celebration that they don't truly know if they're in love or not, it's more like they're in love with the idea of being in love. Love requires committment in all areas of the relationship, and I don't see that like I did in my parents generation.

I think there are many divorces nowadays because some people just jump into decisions without thinking about it a thousand times. Some of it starts at the beginning of a relationship. Once a person meet someone and that person think that person is the one, he/she right away decides to marry that person without rethinking. Others when in an argument just conclude and say that they don't understand each other anymore without really talking about the problems. Others just say things they didn't mean which will eventually lead to something not good. these are just some of the reasons I can think of. I think there are more shallow reasons which leads to divorce.

People are not satisfied, they look on the other side of fence, which for them seems to be lush green, but if you go close u will understand the one have is better.
No religion, saints, holy books never allowed divorce, but sad to day people are adamant & hard minded
makes this thing happen. They never understand the aftermath of these actions.
