How Can I get a Star?

Both responders are correct that you get a star at 100 posts. The star depends on how many positive responses that you have received out of that 100 responses. The most important thing to remember is to post quality discussions and responses so that you will get "+" ratings. Responding to discussions with 1 liners will in most cases get you negative ratings as most don't find that to be of quality. The stars range from 1 through 10 with 10 being the highest rating you can get. The stars are referred to as the mylot reputation, it is how other members of mylot see your responses and discussions. Do some hard work. Write some quality responses to the discussions of others. Start few quality discussions. Read the discussion guidelines to get an idea about how to write in mylot. Be as discriptive as possible. Do not write short, incomplete and irrelevent responses. If possible write some authortative information, share your thoughts without any hesitation, advise the people when they insist you to. By doing all this as soon as you complete 100 points in the braces you are rewarded a star over to your username with some beautiful colored STAR and a number inside for which you have to strive hard as explained above then only the reputation percentage of you will show high with a number close to 10, that it all about the points and the star ok? When you reached your 100 post..you get a star, and then start building your reputation. Answer quality discussions and before you know it, from 100..ur aiming for 200..and so on. Goodluck!
