Don't you guys think that Akon saying 'Konvict' in every song of his a bit irritating? I mean the songs are good. But the Konvict thing is bugging.

its not annoying thats his record lable thats just like saying everyone repeats there verse in there song.

I don't really know anything about that. As konvict is the nickname he have given to himself. So there is no much need to get irritated after listening to it. Mostly all rappers use there nick names in songs. Like eminem uses shady most of the time. Then 50 cent uses G-unit most of the times.

well, i guess there is a reason for him to mention that...maybe it's something memorable for him, right? well i really dont mind that much...his songs are great anyway! :)
