What's The Silliest Thing Your Cat Has Ever Done?

Ever notice how most cats get attached to one particular person in the family. That person is the only one who isn't under "attack" by the kitty. LOL I had a black "kitten from hell" once who would lie in wait behind the recliner every morning. Then, as I walked by on my way to the kitchen, he would jump out from behind that chair and grab onto my nightgown with his front claws and just hang there for a moment. Of course, I'd jump and shoo him off, and he'd run away. But next morning, bright and early, just like clockwork...there he'd be again. I think it was "our" game. LOL What's the silliest thing your cat has ever done?

My cat always used to steal my sister's pens, pencils and highlighters from her purse. He'd do this constantly and I dont' think we ever found all of the things he snitched. She got too smart for him though and keeps her purse in her bedroom now so he can't steal them.

Once I left a paper shopping bag out so that my cats could use it as a kitty fort. Which was a fine idea, except that I neglected to cut the handles off. One of my cats came into the bedroom essentially wearing the bag around her midsection! I wish I had a picture of it!

Moomin insists that the bench sofa is all hers and no one else is allowed on it. When we have guests she will jump onto the sofa and head butt until you move along out of her way, so she can make herself comfortable.

We had a cat before, we named her "Mother" because she gave birth to five other kittens. Wow, I remember how many cats we had.
Anyway, when Mother was like around 3 years old, she was quite slow in everything: eating from her dish, getting up from sleep, and responding to my calls. One time, a huge rat (and I mean HUGE) suddenly came in from our front door. At that moment I was stunned because the rat froze and came face to face with Mother. I said to myself, "Ok, now we're going to have some action here!" She suddenly got up and stared at the rat. After a few seconds, Mother just went down and went to her sleeping position! And she did it slooooowly... "Good Grief!" I shouted, then the rat just ran out of the house.
It was a pity I was the only one at home and nobody else saw it. I was thinking that the rat went home and told his friends "Hey, there's this stupid cat who just slept on me!" Oh boy... but that was really funny... :)

My cat also falls a lot when shes trying to jump up on things, she isnt very graceful lol.

I don't necessarily know if this is silly... but we had a kitten, and the first night we let her sleep in the bed with us, she clamped onto my nose ring with her mouth and she would not let go. She pulled and pulled and pulled and it took me a long time to get her to let go. I started wearing a stud after that.

My cat is crazy to begin with, but this one just takes it. She loves windows. She loves to jump up and look out them as much as she can, as often as she can. Before I moved my room around, my bed was right underneath a window. One morning, I woke up and felt something was off, so I went looking for my cat. I found her, dangling off the window blind, struggling to get free.
She managed to get her collar stuck on the strings of the blind and was hanging herself! She slipped off the bed and couldn't get back on it, nor could she get her collar off. I quickly put her back onto the bed and calmed her down. After I reassured her that I was there, I removed the strings from her collar and watched her the rest of the morning to make sure she was ok. Thankfully she was.

Oh my. Just ONE? My cat is insane! She does nutty stuff ALL THE TIME! To name would be a bit crazy. However, my favorite is the one. She used to love at our old house to play on my top bunk bed with her toys. Once she actually somehow decided to roll with my timon stuffed animal. She grabbed the stuffed animal and by accident in her silly playfullness rolled off the top bunk to the floor. She well sorta landed on the next bunk. I recall my sister, in her bed at the time reading I think, she was like "I was wondering what THAT was!" My cat was fine. And I was laughing pretty hard.
Another time I scared her when she was sleepin and she jumped so high she nearly fell off the bunk bed (again). Too funny! CATS ARE GREAT ENTERTAINMENT!

I had a dog and a cat at my place. My dog's name was moti and cat's name was diamond. I used to come home early daily and used to bring food for them daily. God knows how they used to know it's me only on the door and they would be behing mom when she used to open door. They used to even understand that's it 8 o'clcok and it's time for me to come and hang around near main gate of home. Silliest thing my cat did was she scratched my wife when she was real angry on me and was running after me to hit me by a rod. lol

Last summer my husband and I went on a trip but had to leave our kids at home because our son had already started to school. They were staying with my mother the night we came home and since it was late we just told them to come home the next morning. When they came home our cat named Wilbur decided he was ready to come in too. After we had visited with our kids for a little while I got to wondering where Wilbur was. I started looking for him and for some reason walked toward our bathroom. When I got there I spotted Wilbur. He had jumped into the bathtub and was laying there giving himself a bath! We all just hollered laughing and he looked up at us as if to say "What is so funny?" I was able to take a picture of him but he didn't stay there long. He apparently couldn't stand all the attention.

Well he always run in the stairway with no reason at all. I think thats weird that theres nothing in there or maybe hes too playful playing by himself. And thats every morning, and when you i saw him doing that he would run to you and jump on your lap.
