I have recently come across this tip and thought you would surely find this useful! It would help us at time!
If you receive unsolicited text messages you can now forward them directly to 87726 or VSPAM on your mobile handset and the message will be sent directly to Vodafone who are consolidating all the messages that they receive from their customers on a daily basis and forwarding them on to the Independent Committee for the Supervision of Standards of Telephone Information Services (ICSTIS). This should help regulatory action be taken against the companies sending the unsolicited text messages.

In the Philippines, mobile carriers are sending SMS to all it's subscribers to report all SPAM messages received. However it's going to be hard because a lot of those sending SPAM messages are using prepaid SIM and therefore very hard to control. A spammar can just buy a new sim and continue sending unsolicited messages to others. Some even use these prepaid SIMs to rip off clueless subscribers.
