I've read a discussion about star number. And i'm clueless about it.
What is star number? How can i see mine?
How can we increase it?
And one more thing, should we rate members? how and what will happen?
Gee..i'm completely blur with myLot system am i...? I hope members around here wont get tired answering my question. I'm new and still have a lot more to learn. Anyway thank you for the support.

Yes you should rate the discussions that you go to. You should refer to the guidelines to see how to use the rating system. The rating system is how our stars are acquired, and maintained. Members can't see how you rated them. To increase your mylot star reputation you need to remember to start quality discussions and respond with quality responses. Answering discussions with 1 line sentences will in most cases get you negative ratings as most mylot members see this as not being quality.
welcome to mylot and mylotters/mylotians don't get upset answering questions. The best thing is to refer to all the links at the top and the bottom s it has a lot of very useful information. I have also found the mylot admin to be great at answering any questions that I have.
I wish you the best of luck here and much success. Hope this better helps in answering your questions so far. :)

The star represents your reputation here on mylot, it is based by what other members think about your posts(discussions started/responded).
You will recieve your star when you reached 100th post, and the number inside it represents the quality of your posts. From 1 - 10, with ten as the highest a user can recieve.
