Do you feel you are able to stand nude in front of the mirror & smile? Or when you stand in front of the mirror you instead tend to cringe each time? Would you like to someday be able to look in the mirror & accept the flaws that you have.. As well as love your body someday to? That is if you don't already.. Do you feel that it is hard to accept your body because of society's pressures to look a certain way? Or do you just not pay attention to any of that whatsoever & instead just accept yourself the way you are? Flaws & all? Please do share your thoughts & feelings on how you see yourself.. But also.. How you feel about the way society perceives beauty? Thanks for sharing with me! xx

I guess I still see myself as my mother saw me, too many pounds and ugly. It is something that I just can not get passed. We tend to gain weight as we get older. It is very hard to get if off once it has hit the hips. Society has a lot to answer for because they tend to only want skinny women. I know that is how the men feel in the States. A few extra pounds and you are stared at. How do I react when I look in the mirror? I cringe. I will not stand in front of a full length mirror. I only want to look at the neck up. I need to exercise but I am still limited because of my foot. I am hoping to get the extra weight off before my brother comes over for a visit in September.

Nah, I think everyone is beautiful. If you cannot even believe in your own beauty, no one will. Follow the logic? ;-)
