How do guys sweet talk a girl into giving in?

Do guys take it as a challenge to do all the sweet talking until the girl's defenses are down? How do they sweet-talk? Like flirt a little, shower the girl with so much attention..maybe flatter her a bit. Is that true? Then after leave her cold when he gets what he wants?

definitely not me! i'm more of the like-me-if-you-want type. i don't care whether they give in or not. i like sweet-talking, but i do that only to those who i want to sweet-talk. and i absolutely don't leave a girl cold when i get what i want. c",)
