one fine day ur son, about 18-19 years age, comes to u & says he is seeing someone. well u feel ok/happy, and u ask him who is his sweetheart? he says they both met at a friends birthday party last month. u ask 'kid wats her name?' he says its not 'she' but a 'he', and his name is Adam. he also explains u how he is happy with him and they r going to stay as husband & wife for life. he wants u to meet his new found love. he wants to call him for dinner next weekend.
what do u say? how do u take it?

You have about two choices. You can disown him and say you never want to see him again.................
Or you can respect his lifestyle choice and support it and still have your fine son.

at least the son was being honest about what he's feeling and he's willing to work it out between the family and his boyfriend. It would be awkward at first, especially when everyone was having dinner with the gay couple sitting side by side. But over time, the family would accept the boyfriend when they always see them happy together. There are so many lesbian and gay couples, and the family don't really mind watching them holding hands and kissing out in the open. After all, they're loving each other, and the family should see what makes the son happy.
