Do you AGREE when others agree?

Yes sir. No Mdm. Er.. yes-no, I mean...
What kind of person are you?
Are you the kind who always stands up for your rights, and are always on the ready to hammer your point across? Or are you one who prefers to stay in the background, hoping to stay unnoticed? Or are you like the mangrove trees who sway left or right depending on how the wind blows?
I don't think it is right or wrong to be in any of the above mentioned categories - or even a 4th or 5th one that I have not described. Everyone is entitled to behave in the manner he or she feels most comfortable.
For me, it's really a hybrid. Generally speaking, I am the kind who practises the "live and let live" policy. This means that if you don't provoke me, I won't make things difficult for you. But if you want to mess around with me, I will become your worst enemy. That makes me pretty versatile, eh? :P And when it comes to issues where I need to take stands on, I will defend my opinions and stand by what I say. If I am neutral to start with, I would either stay neutral or throw my support to friends.
So what are you typically like? Are you a "yes-man", a "hammer-wielder", a "phantom-lurker" or... ? Do you agree just because others agree? Do share your thoughts. ;-)

Wizzy sometimes you make me think in such a way that my brain hurts! lol If it is something about which I feel strongly about I will stand by my opinion but try to accept or respect others opinions if I can, that doesn't mean that I agree with them - just that I believe they are entitled to their opinion! If it something I have mixed feelings I will probably 'sway left or right depending on how the wind blows' because I cannot resolve the mixed feelings and then if I am neutral I will probably remain neutral!

I'm a bit of a mix up with this really, lol.
like to live and let live and to not like to get involved if I don't have to. I will defend my corner or do what I want regardless and will defend the people I care about - if I agree with them.
The worst one for me is when someone really pushes and hurts me. I never forget and even years later will get my own back, so they may not even know it was me, but I feel better, (evil laughs).

Im neither a yes person nor a no person. It depend son the situation. i usually stand by my convictions but if i feel after liestening to the other person that im making a mistake then im quick to accept it and agree. But if i am convinced I am in the right, come hell or high water, I will not agree with the opposite person.

Yes sir, sweetie. I know you're like that. I guess I'm the only whom you can't say "NO." In a way, I'm like you. I used to be timid and shy about voicing out my opinion. I prefer to stay behind the curtain if I can. But with years of facing a lot of struggles and difficulties, I learn to stop cringing away and to stand up on my own. I would readily say YES if I agree with what the person is saying. Although I detest entering into some sort of arguments, it can't be avoided. I will my state my opinion but in a gentle, calmer way. Raising blood on both sides won't do any good.

At one time, I used to always say what I thought people wanted to say, so I would not rock the boat, so to speak.
But that was years ago.. Since then, I have learned that we all have our opinion that we believe in and that is what we should stand by regardless.
If someone does not want the honest truth and feeling from me, they should not ask the question in the first place.

I am the type who goes through cycles of both. I will hammer down hard to drive my thoughts and points home, but I also tend to sit in the shadows like the moon pulling the ocean tides, as well. Other times I will burn brightly like the sun, and no I do not agree just because others agree... Although I do tend to be neutral on many topics. - DNatureofDTrain

My wife says I'm a real pain because I never believe what she says. Well of course that is a huge exageration!
But I admit that I tend to think on a question and weigh the pros and cons before giving my opinion.
This does often put me way out on a limb and against the normal trend.
For instance I'm all for nuclear power for generating electricity and I think CO2 has nothing to do with global warming - so you see I tend to have a hard time not being a yes man!!

I am pretty easy going, too. But I won't agree to something I really don't believe in. All the same, I won't argue a point with someone when it is clear that we are going to disagree no matter what. I like a discussion but not an argument.
I will state my case, clarify any points, and let go of changing the other person's mind. Everyone has a right to their opinion. And as long as they aren't hurting anyone, it is none of my business.
It sure is frustrating sometimes, though, when someone totally misses my point and continues to argue about it without hearing clarification. These folks aren't discussing anymore. They are arguing and take it personally if I don't agree with them. I just pull out of that "discussion".

there are times wherein we will find out that there is no point arguing at all. when i encounter somebody who keeps insisting on what is his opinion of things without listening to those of others, i'd let go. it is best that way.

I"m pretty much like you, mylord.
As a rule I don't make waves on things that are not important enough for me, which doesn't mean that I will agree but I won't make a huge effort to make my own views known. I just let them go.
I save my energy to use when the issue is important to me, and in that case I will state my views and stand by them.
There are times however where I enjoy being devil's advocate just for the fun of it. But in that case I keep it light because I"m there just for the fun of the debate.

you know, when i am sure of what my knowledge is about anything i say yes,no. But if i am not exactly that aware of the topic, i will wait for someone to share their knowledge and then i will know what i will be infavoring in.

I am the kind of person who stick's to his point no matter what. I am like a rock in the middle of a river, no matter how fast the current is I will not move. To be honest I know who I am and I know what I believe in. I dislike it when people just agree for the heck of it. If something goes against your believes you shouldn't agree just because you are afraid to stand out. What makes our mankind so amazing is the diversity of thoughts and that we disagree with each other. We may argue at times, but because of disagreements we can come up with a well thought compromise.

My friends know me in two ways... they know how NICE i can be and also how BAD i can also be. When meeting new people its either you become my FRIEND or ENEMY... i can be the best of friends you can have... also i can be the worst enemy.
Im a calm girl, simple and very appreciative. I just put certain boundaries in my privacy. With discussion, i always stand for my opinion if its NO = NO and if YES = YES. I dont agree just because the majority agrees or because my friend agree on it.
Im confrontational in terms of what i believe is RIGHT. And i fight for what i believe in. I guess that is because when i was Young (Highschool) I was the opposite, i was the quiet girl who never wants any agruements... since college i think i have become TOO CONFRONTATIONAL... :)

I remember a line from a |Foo Fighters song "were you born to resist or be abused?" i guess.. i was born to be abused...
I guess im more of a wallflower... i used to be a rebel- always fighting for what i believe in- i always had a strong opinion od various things and i make sure my point always gets heard, but after all that i've been through.. i just gave up- for me reisitance became futile and i started to notice that life can be much easier if you just go with the flow...so sometimes i do agree when other agree- sometimes if i really dont agree- i just end up agreeing because its futile to disagree specially when its the majority that agrees to something...

well..YES SIR!!
hehe..actually no..its not about just yes sir or no sir...
its more about wat i think and wat he thinks!
every argument has 3 sides ,one wat i think, another wat he thinks and yet another is wat the truth is!!
i would wat to close all my arguments near to truth and not just on yes or no.
but yeah, if somegets on my nerves and if its a debate, trust me dude, it would get difficult for others to speak up..i vil here make sure they confirm to wat i say!!
neways..ppl dont easily mess up with me on arguments now...buti enjoy every bit of it!!!

Nope, is usually stands for my decision and my points of view as long as i know im on the right side i dont have to agree becuase others agree too.. I'd rather be alone than to agree with others that i dont feel comfortable for the decision..

I fight for what my answer is. Im not that kind of majority-win person. If its not right, then say it is not right right. Just stand up of what do you think is right.
