Do you think being politically correct has gotten out of hand?

I read another post and was compelled to ask this question. I do feel that political correctness in this country has gotten out of hand. How does everyone else feel?

Honestly this discussion has nothing to do with politics. This has something to do with being politically correct by this term this means comments or statements made to others that might in effect insult their culture, race, creed, religion.

I agree with you that it has gotten completely out of hand. Nothing stays the same anymore. I really don't see a problem with the way things use to be. When you didn't have to worry about what you said or if someone's feeling would get hurt because they don't agree. Well, personally, I'm not ready for being politaclly correct. I could care less if someone gets offended. The way I see it, if you don't like what I have to say, don't listen to me. You do have the freedom to walk away. (Not you, you know what I mean lol) There's another thing I have heard that I agree with. If you don't like what is said in this country, Delta is ready when you are.

That's funny about Delta is ready when you are. I wish some people would find the money for a ticket. Thanks for the response.
