would you pefer to buy Laptop or desktop computer

I have both a laptop and desktop. I prefer the laptop a lot more. You can use it where ever you want. The best part is you can use it in different parts of your house and its a change of scenery. You might not think of it as a big deal now, but it does help a lot!

I wud certainly go for the laptop.. Infact, I just bought a laptop for myself a month ago.. Laptop is more convenient than a desktop pc, u can carry it with urself, so laptop is always better to choose from the two...

If its for home use, I would prefer Desktop computer because of its stability and parts can be upgraded anytime.

I think both of them have pros and cons. If I had the money, I'll buy both. I like the desktop because I don't really know about puter to repair it when it is broke. Laptop is high maintenance while desktop is not I think. If I had the money though since I have desktop now, I'd buy a laptop so I can have access of the internet anywhere I want to.

Right now, i hav a desktop cmputr at hm, n now i wud like to buy a laptop for myself.

i have both, but i used desktop for most of the time, i only use laptop only if i got the tast to go to the customer, which is rarely, about once a week.. But having laptop is very usefull indeed :D

I currently use a laptop, and when it comes time to replace it I will probably get another. I love the ability to take it with me when I go. In my rescue work, I can take it out to the bunny sanctuary to update files on the rabbits. In my missions work, I can take it with me when I visit foreign lands, and use it to show pictures, slide shows or movies. In my scrapbooking business I can take it to crops and be able to check prices/inventory in a flash. I really don't know what I would do if I was still tied down to a desktop computer!

I would prefer to buy a laptop. It is more convenient and portable and easier to maintain. It is better to have a desktop, only if you have to use the computer for around 5-6 hours every day at home.

i already have a desktop computer which is working fine so i wouldnt prefer to another one and let it gather dust. if there be necessity to replace this i would still prefer a latest desktop PC.

well i do prefer to buy a very good laptop that i can also use as my "home computer" but as this kind of laptop that i mean cost a great deal of money i will settle down for a good p.c. home edition computer:)

I guess I prefer desktop computers because I think they're much easier to work with than laptops. Anyway, I would lie if I asid I wouldn't like a laptop too.... Just think about it... laying comfortably on your bed and surfing on the internet or working on your laptop. I have to admit, it would be great. However, if I had to choose between these two,it would definitely be the desktop computer. The laptop is for now a luxury I can't afford yet. :)

I only have a computer at work so I wouldn't care what kind I bought for home. Although I think that I would rather have a laptop.

i do have a desktop at my home right now.i bought it 2 years ago.but now i am going to further my studies in university.so i will be gong to other states far way from my home.so i would need to buy laptop to use there.besides laptop can be carried anyway since it is not so smaller and lighter than desktop.nowadays the laptop price is already very cheap.it doesn't make a large difference with desktop price.so why not consider getting a laptop straight then??last time was hard to own a laptop because the price was so expensive.but nowadays almost everyone can own a laptop.besides there are a lot of promotions given with the laptops as well.exmaple is dell company.they will give you free upgrade,free delivery etc.now laptops are built in wireless card and dvd burner.so you can subscribe to wireless connection and burn cds or dvds right in your laptop.you do not have to buy separate cd burner

We have both , They are both my sons really but he works on the desktop upstairs and I use the laptop in the sitting room . I never thought i would have liked a laptop , the built in mouse seemed so funny to start with but now I love it , and it is just so fast , We have a DELL laptop and they are brilliant , just great customer care , and superior products xx

It's gonna be a desktop for me, but only because I already have a laptop. The thing about desktops is that you can do so much more, the storage capacity is better, and it is easily customizable in comparison to a laptop. They would probably be better for my games, too... :-D

i have a desktop one now but getting a laptop for my birthday so my hubbie can go on xbox live more often

We have a lap top - actually we have two. I do not think we will buy another computer anytime soon. When we do I think i would like a desktop. It gives more memory fot the same prize. And - we already have a lap top that we can bring with us anywhere we go.

We have 2 PC - a desktop and a laptop. The desktop is mostly used by my kids. I prefer to use the laptop , it is handy and I can bring it wherever i go. Sometimes my old son borrow the laptop when he has something to do with PC outside home.

i already got a computer so now i would like my own laptop so i can i use it whenever i want.
