My son is 16 and he has a pogo name that he plays games with and I have my step-daughter up here and she also plays games on there but yes I do watch them on the internet because she has a tendency to tell the guys that she loves them and my son tells e1 hi and some take it the wrong way so you almost have to watch them all the time especially after date-line nbc did their special on the internet and the predators.

I check on them from time to time. Their ages are 7 and 10. They can only go to kid friendly websites, like pbskids.org. I look in on them every once in awhile to see if they have wandered into the forbidden zone but the volume on my speakers is high so I can hear them in here playing games so I know where they are is where they are suppose to be. I've heard horror stories so for now they are safe but they are getting older and aren't going to want to play games forever, then they will be monitored VERY closely!

luckily enough, the computer is in my bedroom, so I am always right there. I lay on my bed and watch TV while they are on. They only go to Miniclips.com, Nick.com, etc to play games right now, no surfing. They are 7 & 9 so they aren't into "chatting" with friends or anything of the like. When they start to, I will monitor them, and make sure they aren't getting into things I don't approve of.
