Norton or McAfee for protection?

For the last couple of years I have used McAfee Suite for protection on my PC. I have it renewed every year. I'm currently using the free trial of Norton 360 to compare to McAfee. Recently, we had some adware/spyware show up on our PC and it was driving me nuts, I believe I have finally removed all of it! Which product do you prefer, Norton or McAfee and why? Thanks!

I think that McAfee is the best out of these two. Because it is a very simple to use tool to detect viruses and adware/spyware. I dont suggest Norton because it is really bulky and uses up a lot of your system memory.
