why are spoons called TEASPOONS and TABLESPOONS????????

everything have its unit to measure similarly in spoons also have teaspoon and tablespoon as unit for measurement but why it named so???????

Tea spoon is a small spoon usually use to stir tea and coffee drinks. Table spoon is biger than tea spoon and usually use for food together with fork.
