Following in the footsteps of Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Dr. Naseem Ashraf, all members of Pakistan's cricket selection committee also resigned today in wake of Pakistan's shameful exit from the World Cup after suffering consecutive defeats at the hands of West Indies and Ireland, Sahara Samay sources said.
It may be recalled that Pakistan captain, Inzamam-ul-Haq quit one-day cricket soon after losing match against Ireland more so because Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer passed away soon after the loss.
Woolmer's sudden death shocked all and sundry. The Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Dr. Naseem Ashraf, put in his papers.
The three-member committee's tenure was to be reviewed after the World Cup, but one of the selectors said they had decided to quit and shoulder some of the blame for the poor performance.
Woolmer died of a suspected heart attack on Sunday a day after Pakistan lost to Ireland and crashed out of the tournament.
The selectors have sent their resignations to the Pakistani President, Pervez Musharraf.

Its really pathetic to hear such a news! Pakistan is an very good team and no one expected such a early climax for the Pakistan Team. Key players were not on their side and thats the main reason for them to lose the chance to enter super 8. Even India is struggling to enter the Super 8. If India fails to enter super 8, we can also see such consequences in Indian Team too....
