I guess I was wrong (and my whole family 0 my hubby came home that day and said that it was only a 20 dollar winner not a 20,000. winner. which i do not understand . we all looked at the card and read instructions etc. there was 3 of the jetsons dad faces right where they needed to be. I just do not know. i think the woman scammed my hubby somehow. the next time i get into town i am going by there and talking to the manager and asking for video of that night and time. that is what lottery place told me to do. I had contacted them about the card and what i needed to do to claim money etc. oh well back to writing discussions.

Yes a lot of lottery places are scams but it is best to check this out when you do go into town and check the video as it sounds very much like this woman scammed your husband out of your winnings it is dreadful when they do this and you had all of the three jetsons dad faces there.

I just asked about this in your first discussion about it. That SUCKS! Gosh, could you believe if she really did lie to your husband and it really was a winner? I can't believe that 4 people looked over the ticket and confirmed that it was good and then the woman at the convienience store said NO. How does SHE know? Did she thoroughly read how it was done like you and your family did? I am glad that you contacted the lottery people about it. I hope that it works out for the best. And if she did lie to you to steal it or even if she messed up because she didn't read over it carefully I hope she at least gets reprimanded for not doing her job right or fired for stealing.
You should find out where the woman put the ticket and demand to see it again.

Maybe you should call the lottery office to see what the particulars are on that lottery. I hope that the employeed didn't scam you. Something sounds fishy about it.

Sorry for the difficulties. Easy come easy go that is usually the way it is. Glad to see you back here. Would and did miss you while you were out. I am working with the freelance stuff for now and will let you know if there is anything worth sharing. Sure could help you I think. Good luck with finding the real deal about that ticket and they you do find luck with winnings someday soon.

I am so sorry that your ticket wasn't what you thought it was. That would truly suck. that definitely sounds like my luck for sure. I have never won $20.00 on anything though so I know the $20.00 itself would have been a joke for me to begin with. I would definitely go back to that store also because something just doesn't sound right about it. I guess the store has your ticket now? If not, I would definitely get a hold of the lottery personnel and let them look at it to see if it is worth more than the $20.00. I would be so depressed and bummed out if I thought I really hit bid money and only got $20.00 also.

Most lotteries for that amount of money would have to be collected at the state lottery headquarters. I would not have handed my ticket over if I weren's sure. If you have any doubts I would go back to the store and have someone explain it to you. I woudl contact the lottery headquarters if you think the store worker scammed your winning ticket.
