Does anyone know where and why the Paul is Dead story originated? My mother told me part of it when I was younger, but I cannot remember most of it. I know it had to do with a record, and the cover of Abbey Road, I think. She told me this when I was young, so I have a hard time remembering. If anyone out there knows, please share. I would love to know the story.

I'm a beleiver. THey've done vocal studies on the recordings of the original "Paul" and the Paul of today and they come out differently. On the Seargent Pepper's album cover there are many clues. On the "Abbey Road" album cover, Paul is the only one barefoot. And then at the end of "Strawberry Fields," it clearly says, "I buried Paul," Although they claim it says something about slaw.
Regardless, it's a fascinatin mystery. And Paul, whichever he is, is my favorite beatle.
