Anybody here who has a male besfriend?

well i have a male bestfriend since elementary.And yes i can say that our friendship is one in a million(lol).Hes a vey nice and i can say any woman would be lucky to have her.He has his 4 years girlfriend who happens to be my close frend also.Its been a year now since this bestfriend of mine is acting strange.He keeps on calling me when were both at work,keeps on asking me if he can visit our haus alone and i was shocked one time when he said "i love you more than my bestfriend" and asked me this "what if i'll court you?"...Everytime they have an outing with his friends he wanted me to join them and i always asked him why me and not his girl.. Honestly im not flattered of the treatment his giving me.Im happy with the friendship we have and I'm afraid that this will put into risk because of what his doing.I heared that his girl is always jealous with me and i really dont want to hurt somebody.Sometimes he just went to our house and bring me gifts..I adviced him several times now but he's not listening..dont know what to do.Is it right to avoid him?Is it right to give up our long time friendship for the sake of others?for the sake of his girl?I know he also love his girl..is it right to stay away from him for a while? any advice pls.thnks
